SRB Submissions
Abstract submissions are welcome for the following presentation types:
Oral presentation
Poster Presentation
3 minute lightning oral presentation (and poster)
Abstracts will be reviewed by 3 independent peers. The highest scoring abstracts within each category will be selected for oral presentations. Those not selected for orals will be presented as either lightening talks or poster presentations.

Have your abstract open in a word processing program (not PDF) before starting your online submission.
Ensure all authors, affiliations, and conflicts of interest are prepared.

Submission Guidelines
Formatting your SRB Abstract
Presentation Title
Use sentence case (lowercase except the first letter of the first word).
No punctuation in the title.
Example: Title of my presentation for the conference
Author List and Affiliations
Provide the full author list, in order of contribution.
List affiliations and country for each author.
Clearly indicate the presenting author.
Conflicts of Interest
Any conflicts of interest must be declared during the submission process.
Abstracts must not promote or advertise specific commercial products or services.
Abstract Content Requirements
Word Limit:
Maximum 300 words in the abstract body.
This limit excludes title, authors, and affiliations.
Supporting files (e.g., images or tables) may be uploaded as images only.
Required Subheadings
Authors must use the following four subheadings:
1. Background
Brief context/rationale
Knowledge gap
Study aim(s) and/or hypothesis
2. Methods
Appropriate level of detail for the study type (e.g., include sample size (n) for quantitative studies)
Describe statistical analyses where relevant, or describe analytical, qualitative, modelling, or validation approaches appropriate to your study design
3. Results
Present the key findings that address the study aim(s)/hypothesis/rationale
Include statistics where applicable (e.g., effect sizes, p-values, confidence intervals)
For qualitative, modelling, educational, or methodological studies, present results appropriate to the design (e.g., key themes, model performance, feasibility outcomes)
Avoid vague statements such as “data will be presented”
4. Conclusion
Interpretation clearly aligned with the Background and Results
Implications or significance of the findings
Avoid overstatement or claims unsupported by data
References
If references are included, cite them numerically in parentheses in order of first appearance. Example: (1), (2).
