Overview

The Fifth International Symposium on the Calcium-Sensing Receptor (CaSR-5) will be held in conjunction with the Endocrine Society of Australia's Annual Scientific Meeting at the International Convention Centre Sydney (early November 2026). Registrants of CaSR-5 will connect with leading scientists, senior clinicians, EMCRs, and clinical trainees as we explore CaSR structural biology and drug discovery, molecular genomics/genetics, disorders of mineral metabolism, the receptor’s signaling properties including biased signaling, its roles in physiological systems and in pathophysiology, together with its utility as a target in emerging therapies e.g., for disorders of gastrointestinal function, immune dysfunction (Asthma or Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and/or CNS degeneration (Alzheimer Disease). The program (see draft outline below) will feature keynote talks and theme-focused sessions, posters, shorter oral presentations, and chances for young investigators to connect with senior experts in the field.
