Dr Ashley Meakin
Ashley is a National Heart Foundation Research Fellow in the Early Origins of Adult Health Research Group, led by Prof Janna Morrison. His research focusses on sex differences in placental androgen signalling and its role in regulating fetal organ development. Ashley currently leads an NHMRC Ideas Grant assessing the impact of androgen excess during pregnancy on placental development and maternal and offspring cardiometabolic health.
