CaSR-5 Submissions

Abstract submissions are welcome for the following presentation types:

  • Oral presentation

  • Poster presentation

The Program Organising Committee will assign successful oral presenters either a standard oral presentation (15-20 minutes) or an oral poster presentation (2-3 minutes) within the program.

Before You Begin

  • Have your abstract open in a word processing program (not PDF) before starting your online submission.

  • Ensure all authors, affiliations, and conflicts of interest are prepared.

  • Maximum word limit of 300 words within the body of the abstract. This does not include the title, or the list of authors and affiliations. However, it does include references and acknowledgements. 

Early-Stage Investigator Travel Awards

Funding is available to early career researchers who meet the following criteria:

  • The first/presenting author is a graduate student or within 6 years of receiving a PhD/MD or equivalent degree.

  • Select the check box in the abstract submission to be considered.

Please note: delegates can register at the Early-bird rate but do not need to process the payment until after they receive their abstract result.

  • - Paper Title

    - Full Author List

    - List of all Author affiliations including city and country

    - The abstract must not use subheadings. However, it should be in the following form: Background, Aims, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

    - Each Abstract must finish with a 30-40 word statement that provides the following or similar ‘The major outcome (or conclusion) of the study is … ‘

    - Overall word count, excluding titles and affiliations must not exceed 300 words.

    - One Figure or one table can be provided as a supporting document alongside your abstract however they can only be appended as an Image.

    - Cite references in numeric order in parentheses according to first mention in the text.

    - Please note, any conflicts of interest need to be declared during the submission process. An abstract is not to be used as advertising for any specific product or service.
