Maria Luisa Brandi, MD, PhD, is an internationally recognized endocrinologist and professor affiliated with leading institutions including the IEO Milan and McMaster University, Canada. A global expert in osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases, she has directed major clinical and research centers and currently serves as President of the F.I.R.M.O. Foundation and the Italian Observatory on Fragility Fractures. She has authored more than 1020 peer-reviewed publications and 300 book chapters and books.
