The deadline for all 2026 SRB conference awards is Friday17 July.

 Award finalists are selected based on abstract submission or CV. For further SRB Award information and criteria, visit the SRB website.

 Awards selected from abstracts:

  • David Healy New Investigator Award

  • ART Lab Solutions Future Leader in Gametes and Embryo Research Award

  • Male Contraceptive Initiative Award

  • ANZPRA New Investigator Award

  • Hudson Reproductive Health Awards for Excellence

  • Minitube Australia Award for Excellence in Livestock & Wildlife Reproduction

Nomination for these awards is made in the abstract submission portal. Please select the awards you wish to apply for as you submit your abstracts. The abstract submission deadline applies for these awards.

Awards selected from CV and reference letter:

  • SRB - HMRI Reproductive and Family Health Program Emerging Research Leader Award

  • SRB - The Robinson Research Institute Award for Excellence in Reproductive Biology Research

  • SRB - The Mercy Perinatal Mid-Career Medal for Women’s Health

Nomination for these awards is made via submission of a CV and reference letters. The deadline for these awards is Friday 29 May 2026.

SRB membership and eligibility:

You must ensure you have been an SRB member for 6 months prior to applying for awards. Honours students and PhD students in their first year are exempt and must be a member at the time of abstract submission.

Travel Grants

SRB Male Contraceptive Initiative Travel Awards

There are 2 travel grants of $250 value to be awarded to researchers working on research that informs the development or uptake of male-based contraceptives. These grants can also be used on costs of conference registration.

SRB Student Travel Grants

Applicants must fulfill all of the following requirements:

  • I am a full-time Postgraduate or Honours student.

  • I am a financial member of the SRB or have submitted an application for membership since the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Society and will become financial prior to the 2026 SRB meeting.

  • I am the presenting author of an abstract submitted for the 2026 Annual Conference of the SRB.

  • I am not qualified as a physician.

Value of Student Travel Awards:

  • Australia (VIC, QLD, SA, TAS, NT) - $200

  • New Zealand (All) - AUD $300

  • Australia (WA) - $450
